After my son was born, I had a call from my Acting agent, who asked if I did any soft crafting. I sent the photos of my nesting efforts, which resulted in being called for an audition to be a presenter on Create And Craft TV.

I was living in the depths of Bodmin Moor at the time and couldn’t even get signal to watch the channel, so had no idea what I was letting myself in for! Fast forward a few months and I relocated my entire family (including all the fury ones) to be close to the TV studios and so, my TV career began.

Being surrounded by, and immersed in the world of Craft was incredible, and the way life went, I ended up sewing more and more.

After the birth of my daughter, it became apparent that if I wanted to sew, the projects needed to be simple, quick, yet satisfying. For the last 3 or so years, this has been exactly what I have bought to air with my Natasha Makes shows.

But every day we get asked when I demoed such-and-such, or so-and-so technique and with so many videos out there, and a menopausal memory, I don’t stand a chance of remembering! So, I have decided to put all those little how to videos in one place, so they are easy to find, you can peruse them at your leisure, dip into them whenever you need them. Because sometimes we all need our hand holding and our memories jogging, or simply a bit of guidance to learn a new technique.
